1) The picture was among the top 30% of vote-getters.
2) The picture was large enough to meet the printing criteria.
This is particularly useful when dealing with large monthly photographs. If the photo was too small or of poor quality to print at the required size of 8.5 by 11 inches, it had to be used as a smaller photo on the secondary pages.
3) Colors of the breed represented (gold and its variations, black, black/tan, blue/tan).
4) Seasonal photos.
5) A good mix of puppy and adult TM photos.
For those who did not make the final selection this year or for the 2013 calendar, please keep those photos handy. Before you know it, another year will have rolled around and we heartily encourage you to re-submit those photos for consideration as a 2014 Calendar entry.
We will enable TWO WINNING PHOTOS from each household to be featured in the calendar next year if needed, as long as they are of two separate dogs. Due to the limitation of one winning photo per household, we are unable to include many beautiful photos in the calendar.
