Breeders Services For Advertising A Tibetan Mastiff Stud

Do you have a quality male Tibetan Mastiff available for breeding?

The Tibetan Mastiff is getting more well-known, although it’ll never become one of the most popular breeds. This characteristic, combined with the once-a-year estrus cycle and huge distances between dogs, might make it difficult for breeders to acquire available breeding quality males for their breeding programs.

As a result, the stud dog announcement page is provided as a service to breeders and the TM community in order to encourage diversity, avoid bottleneck lines, and avoid the popular sire problem.

Owners should be guided or mentored by experienced breeders, and their dogs should be evaluated by experienced breeders and/or competent show judges.

Please Heed Attention

Although we are not a club with an all-encompassing mandatory code of conduct, we still feel a strong commitment to promoting the highest standards of responsible breeding practices.

TM INFO can reassure the public that all dogs mentioned on the stud dog page have passed a basic set of hip/elbow clearance tests. The main purpose of this requirement is to encourage healthy, sound stud dogs to join the T Mastiff gene pool as potential contributors. Owners of both stud and bitch dogs, on the other hand, have the obligation and responsibility to give their dogs quality veterinarian care and to seek further and comprehensive health exams.

The owners are also responsible for conducting comprehensive pedigree research and obtaining any legal papers that may be required. Between collaborators, we promote open and honest discussion as well as full disclosure.

The following criteria is required to post a listing on the Available Stud Dogs Page:

II. Providing proof of registration for sire/dam of the litter
III. Providing proof of hip evaluation(Excellent, Good or Fair – PH at or below current median DI)
IV. Providing proof of elbow (Normal or Grade I) evaluation

While we do our best to be explicit, health criteria for the ad may be subject to change without notice as we evaluate emerging information concerning health issues that pertain to the Tibetan Mastiff Breed.
