Winners 2011 Tibetan Mastiff Photo Contest Info

We are now officially showcasing the 37 winners that will grace the pages of the TMINFO Calendar of 2011. You can see the 13 first place winners followed by the 24 secondary winners below.
We’d like to give a special thanks to our volunteer judge:

Tibetan Dog Photo Selection Process

1) Picture fell within the top 30% of vote-getters.

2) Picture was large enough to fulfill the printing criteria.
This is especially important with the large monthly photos. If the photo was not large enough or high quality enough, it could not qualify for printing at the required size of 8.5 by 11 inches and therefore needed to be used as a smaller photo on the secondary pages.
3) Colours of the breed represented (gold and its variations, black, black/tan, blue/tan)
4) Seasonal photos

5) Balance of puppy and adult pictures.

Best Tibetan Mastiff Images

We want to thank everyone who participated in the calendar and send out huge congratulations to the winners.
For those who did not make the final selection this year or for the 2011 calendar, please keep those photos handy. Before you know it, another year will have rolled around and we heartily encourage you to re-submit those photos for consideration as a 2012 Calendar entry.
In the meantime, keep those cameras close at hand. You just never know when you’ll capture that perfect shot. Thank you to everyone for their continued support of the TM Info site!
