Rescue
The Tibetan Mastiff Breeders Response Network is dedicated to
supporting the volunteers of Tibetan Mastiffs Rescue worldwide.
We recognize what a challenging and important role the volunteers
of this program play in order to ensure the safety and well-being
of the breed.
The participants of this program agree that Breeders must be
the first line of contact for TMs that are about to be placed in
shelters or have already been discarded. Through our network we
expect to be able to identify those dogs entering the Rescue system,
contact their Breeders and allow those Breeders to make the decisions
about the dogs that they have bred.
- encourage better communication among breeders.
- voluntarily submit information into a TMBRN database to ensure
ease of identification of individual Tibetan Mastiffs.
- encourage Tibetan Mastiffs breeders to accept responsibility
for the puppies/dogs within their breeding programs by facilitating
the rescuing/re-homing of any dogs.
- work with ALL owners, ALL organizations, ALL rescue groups
and ALL shelters in order to ensure that safe rescue/re-homing
of dogs is achieved efficiently with minimum transport/trauma
to the dog and minimum undo expense.
This group has no relationship with any breed club or rescue organization.
The voluntary participants of the TMBRN should expect to be called
up to facilitate, foster, transport and re-home for each other.
